Allowing God to Take Control

Hey everyone! So, from a non-religious standpoint, life can get pretty hard. No matter what aspect, social standing, race, etc…., the iniquities and troubles of this world are inevitable. Now, bringing religion back into the picture, the Devil throws things at us, left and right. Sometimes even God tests us, to see where our hearts are. Living in this world is not cupcakes and rainbows, in fact, it’s quite the contrary. Living in this world, as a Christian, means hate from every angle, emphasized and highlighted attempts to make us fail, as well as the attempts of those who may be close to us to draw us farther away from God. The fact of the matter is that these are only a fraction of what we Christians go through on a daily basis. There is a catch though; doesn't it ever occur to you that we can go through all of these tests, and still face the same thing tomorrow? Well for this, we have God to thank.1 Peter 5:7 states, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” The bible tells us plain and clear that all of these issues and problems can be cast unto God. We don’t have to bear the weight of these issues, because we have a mobile therapist, if you will. So, let’s take this luxury (as this is what it is), and give God our issues, that we as Christians, have been set free from.
