Read. Your. Bible!

Hey, y’all. As Christians, and even as Christian youth, we all have things to do. These actions that we have to complete can be things within or out of the church, things that God will generally or specifically call us to do or maybe even something entirely different, but before we get there, we first have to start with the written Word.

This written Word is the Bible, and this is the most important book of your life and walk with God! This book has everything that you need to hear, or maybe something that your neighbor may need to hear, if you’re feeling convicted to share. This is our life guide! Everything that we go through can be addressed through the Word! It’s our manual and is even likened to a mirror, as James 1:23-24 (NIV) states:

23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

The Bible is here to sustain us and keep us running, especially because there are crazy things happening in the world! The Word also helps us to see what God wants and expects from us, or even what He wants us to know regarding ourselves or His thoughts towards us, His children, all of which have been stated before.

There are many more things that pertain to the importance of the Bible in our lives, but in order to find more, you gotta look for yourself. We gotta be strapped up in the Word, especially so we can hear God too, so stay tuned to hear more blog posts regarding the Bible and God!

Thank you for reading! May God Bless you more and more as you fill yourself up with more!
